Let's face it. These days nothing ever becomes mainstream unless it's shown on TV.

None of the BGG top 1000 games are ever advertised on TV.

As far as I know, there are no TV shows based on playing good quality boardgames.

There's no Strictly Euro TV show. Which is a shame because I would far rather watch people play Euro games than doing ballroom dancing.

There's no Ameritrash Factor which I would prefer to watching a load of wannabes singing cover songs.

But then again, I find Televised Poker deadly boring. So you'd need the right format and the right presenters to make an entertaining boardgaming TV program...
