About Islamic Games
- Islamic Games started 1989 by a group of Muslim youths from Queens, NY. Annual games were held where Muslims would gather to compete. Imam Siraj Wahhaj and Imam Zaid Shakir were among some of the early participants.
- In 2006 the Islamic Games was rebranded and relaunched in New Jersey where more than 10,000+ male and female athletes of all ages participate annually.
- Islamic Games is the featured competition for Islamic Centers, Leagues, sports academies, Organizations and Muslim Schools.
